Kutztown Kappa Sigma is known for it's exceptional service to University and community events.
Here are some of our main events that occur annually throughout the year.

Shave to Save - Click for official website

Started on our first year of becoming a chapter, Shave to Save was a huge success and remains Kappa Sigma's signature event for years to come. The basis of the event consists of shaving or cutting hair for donations to the American Cancer Society. In addition, this day-long event includes raffels, giveaways, food, music, and more.

While the first Shave to Save, held in April of 2007 collected over $5,000 in donations, our last Shave to Save was even bigger. Kappa Sigma raised $10,300 in April of 2008 for our 2nd annual event. The success of this event and the awareness it provided secured Shave to Save in the hearts and minds of the KU campus and community
for years to come.

Concert Security

Kappa Sigma usually always participates in the annual Kutztown homecoming concert usually by doing security. In previous years, we have met Jason Mraz and Gym Class Heroes as part of our services to the University.

Kutztown Clean-up

At least once a year, Kappa Sigma participates in a Kutztown clean-up, where we go to different spots in the town and pick up trash.

Other Events

Kappa Sigma also participates in many other events, such as special olympics, American Cancer Society flower delivery, christmas caroling, Operation Snowflake, vallet parking, freshman move-in, Relay for Life, and the
Kutztown Historical Society.
